全新：PG&E 宣布擴大 STEM 獎學金計畫，納入傳統黑人大學 【屋崙訊】 PG&E 企業基金會（下稱「本基金會」）目前接受 Better Together STEM 獎學金計畫的申請。今年為因應有愈來愈多錄取傳統黑人大學的學生提出申請的趨勢，所以我們擴大申請資格，納入預計就讀美國各地傳統黑人大學以及加州的大學的學生。 本基金會將提供總額 250,000 美元的資金，作為科學、科技、工程或數學（即 STEM）領域學位學生的獎學金。這項計畫會頒發 10,000 美元獎學金 20 位，2,500 美元獎學金 20 位。 Better Together STEM 獎學金，目的在讓下個世代的加州人有機會進入高等教育就學並成功完成學業，以及對於已經為自己社區帶來影響或克服個人挑戰的學生提供支援。 「PG&E 企業基金會很榮幸能協助當地學生追求自己夢想，成為我們加州的未來科學家、創新家及工程師，他們能幫助我們打造一個乾淨能源的未來。我們也很高興能擴大申請資格，納入在傳統黑人大學追求高等教育的學生。我身為 Howard University 校友，我很感激我所受的教育，讓我對自己的背景更感到自豪，也大大提升我對真實完整自我的自信心。」PG&E 企業執行副總裁、企業事務與首席永續性主管暨基金會理事成員 Carla Peterman 說道。 自 2012 年以來，Better Together STEM 獎學金方案已根據社群領導力、個人成就、經濟需求和學業成就等綜合面向的發展，提供了超過 650 萬美元的獎勵給達成目標的學生。 申請期限與條件 有意申請的人可以到這裡瞭解更多資訊並提出申請。申請期限為 2022 年 6 月 3 日。獲獎者將在八月宣布。 獎學金會根據個人學業成績、在校和社區活動中展現的參與度與領導能力，以及經濟需求來頒發。符合 STEM 領域資格的學位包括工程、電腦科學/資訊系統、網路安全、及環境科學。 開放以下對象提出申請： 高中三年級學生或高中畢業生 取得 GED 認證的學生 目前大學學生 …
