The City of Los Angeles Opens In-Person Local Assistance Centers Helping Angelenos Recover from Historic Storm
LOS ANGELES – The City of Los Angeles today announced the opening of Local Assistance Centers (LACs) for homeowners, renters, and business owners impacted by the early February storms that hit Los Angeles. These centers will be a one-stop shop where Angelenos can ask questions and obtain information regarding services and assistance available from government agencies and local nonprofits. Angelenos should bring appropriate documentation relevant to the impact on the property.
“Our recovery began the second the storm started,” said Mayor Bass. “I hope Angelenos join us in getting the word out about these centers so that Angelenos are aware of this important opportunity for assistance.”

To report mudslides or debris in the street, call 311 or submit a request for service with the MyLA311 app. The City will continue to gather information to provide Angelenos with additional assistance as our recovery continues.
