Every ten years, local governments use new Census data to redraw their district lines to reflect how local
populations have changed. This process, called redistricting, is important in ensuring that each board member
represents about the same number of constituents. In Orange County, the Board of Supervisors is responsible
for drawing supervisorial districts.
Join us at a public workshop in August to learn more about the County of Orange’s 2021 redistricting process. Each workshop will include a brief presentation and an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on redistricting including communities of interest. Free parking is available at all workshop locations. Information on virtual participation will be available soon on www.ocgov.com/redistricting
