Registrar of Voters to Host Voter Language Workshops for Santa Clara County Voters

REGISTRAR OF VOTERS TO HOST VOTER LANGUAGE WORKSHOPS FOR SANTA CLARA COUNTY VOTERS

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIF – The Registrar of Voters will be hosting a variety of language workshops aimed at informing voters about the upcoming March 5, 2024, Presidential Primary Election. The virtual meetings will be presented in 14 languages: English, Chinese, Hindi, Vietnamese, Gujarati, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Nepali, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog, Tamil, and Telugu.

All workshops will be presented in the designated language. The presenters are bilingual and can answer any questions in the specific language, or English. English-speaking and bilingual members of the public are invited to attend these workshops, where they will learn how to vote, where to vote, and how California’s Voter’s Choice Act provides greater flexibility and convenience for voters.

“Our mission is to protect and ensure the community’s right to participate in fair, inclusive, accurate, and transparent elections,” noted Shannon Bushey, Registrar of Voters, “These workshops serve as essential resources that empower our diverse community to engage in democracy.”

Attendees will also learn how they can get involved in the election process, including how to become an election worker or volunteer.
