Your response can help shape your future. Responding to the 2020 Census is easy, safe, and important.
Your 2020 Census Response MattersThe time is now. Communities across the U.S. are responding to the 2020 Census. If you have not yet responded, you can respond online in one of 13 languages and find assistance in many more. Respond NowYou may receive multiple mailings from the Census Bureau in March and April this year, including an invitation to respond to the 2020 Census and follow-up postcards and letters. Millions of households received reminder postcards in the mail last week. Please note: If you receive mail after you have already responded, you should disregard it. It was sent before we received your response. Is Your Community Responding to the 2020 Census?45.1 percent of households across the nation have responded to the 2020 Census since invitations began arriving in mailboxes last month. The Census Bureau is challenging everyone to help ensure a complete and accurate count in 2020. Visit the 2020 Census response rate map to see how cities and towns across the country are responding. And, while you keep tabs on local response rates, encourage others in your community to respond to the 2020 Census. Share This |
2020 Census Operational UpdatesThe U.S. Census Bureau continues to carefully monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and follow the guidance of federal, state, and local health authorities. We are adjusting some operations with two key principles in mind: protecting the health and safety of our staff and the public, and fulfilling our statutory requirement to deliver the 2020 Census counts to the President on schedule.
