Dear Friend and Neighbor,
I am hosting a telephone Town Hall today about Coronavirus/COVID19 and its impact on our community. The goal of this call is to be accessible to my constituents to answer questions you have about this virus and the steps underway to contain its spread.
The telephone Town Hall will take place today, Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 6 p.m.
Congressman Ami Bera and Dr. David Lubarsky, chief executive officer for UC Davis Health (UCDH) will join me for this call.
Congressman Ami Bera represents California’s 7th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, and is a doctor as well.
Dr. Lubarsky oversees the UC Davis School of Medicine (SOM), the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing, a 1,000-member physician practice group, and the UC Davis Medical Center.
Together, we will explain the steps local health officials and medical providers are taking to contain the virus. We will also answer e-mailed questions from the public.
To listen in on Thursday’s call, please dial 844-291-5491. The Access Code is 6500750.
To RSVP for this event, please click here.
Because of the volume of callers we are expecting, live questions will not be possible. Please submit any questions you may have to senator.pan@sen.ca.gov
You may submit questions whether or not you intend to participate. A recording of the Town Hall will be available at my website at https://sd06.senate.ca.gov
Thank you.
