COVID-19 Pandemic Initiative

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, the channel took initiative to serve communities that do not have access to essential messages and resources by providing airtime and production for in-language PSAs.

The network has produced and aired messages from Congresswoman Judy Chu, U.S. Attorney McGregor Scott, California Treasurer Fiona Ma, and more. The messages address a range of community needs and social efforts including discrimination against Asian
Americans, social distancing, health practices, local business support, rise in domestic violence and mental health. Click Here to see Crossings TV’s COVID-19 PSAs.

Crossings TV provides in-language news, information, and entertainment programming for 7 Asian language groups in 7 Asian concentrated metropolitan areas across the US.

The network also airs special programmings of interest to the community. Over the last month, Crossings TV has partnered with Japan House Los Angeles to air “Drawing Class”, a four-episode program to teach viewers the basics of drawing anime and manga characters.
