在美香港人支持St. Jude年度步行籌款 今年九月，居住在美國各地的香港人再次聯合參與由美國兒童癌症醫院 St. Jude Children Research Hospital 舉辦的全美步行 (St. Jude Walk/Run) 籌款活動。今年居住在美國各地的香港人再次聯合參與。目前，名為「HongKongers in US」的全國團隊已經組織了十五支隊伍，遍佈美國十三個城市，包括 Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Maryland, Miami, New Jersey, New York, Palm Beach, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle 及 Tampa。 【活動詳情】 美國兒童癌症醫院 St. Jude Children Research Hospital 每年九月都會舉辦「兒童癌症關注月」，其中的一個亮點是九月尾的全國步行籌款活動。今年是在美港人團體第二年參與St. Jude 年度步行籌款活動，是次參與由香港人社區中心 (HongKonger Community Center HKCC) 及 Artual Club 發起及統籌，由多個在美港人組織組織地區性隊伍（詳見下頁），以實際行動來支持St. Jude兒童醫院，籌集資金支持癌症研究和為患有癌症的兒童提供治療。截至九月十八日為止，今年的隊伍數目已經大大超過去年的六隊。「Hongkongers in US」團隊希望以香港人的身份參與美國本地社區事務，以彰顯香港人團結及關懷的一面，團隊預期未來繼續參與本地慈善活動，並望鼓勵往後有更多的香港人一同參與。 【參與方式】 「Hongkongers in …
