共同發起勞工行動周 沙加緬度——加州勞工與勞動力發展局（California Labor and Workforce Development Agency，以下簡稱「LWDA」）今日宣佈即將到來的勞工行動周將作為其加州COVID-19工作場所宣傳項目（California COVID-19 Workplace Outreach Project ，以下簡稱「CWOP」）的一部分。這個長達一周的活動旨在通過宣傳與教育來幫助雇員們瞭解如何在現階段疫情中繼續保證安全。其內容涵蓋包括2022補充帶薪病假和反打擊報復保護在內的工作場所健康與安全及勞工休假與薪資福利訊息。 「作為我們面向在COVID-19疫情中風險最高雇員的更安全上班（Safer at Work）宣傳活動的一部分，LWDA已經在加州的關鍵區域中資助了超過60個組織。」加州勞工與勞動力發展局秘書Natalie Palugyai說，「這些受信任的訊息傳遞者為我們提供了極大的助力，讓我們可以更好的就保證工作場所安全的防護舉措及其好處對加州人展開宣傳教育。行動周是一個很好的機會，它讓人們可以關注在疫情現階段仍然有效的保護措施。為確保咱們勞動者知道自己的工作場所可以更加安全從而不受COVID-19侵害，這是非常必要的。」 LWDA和 61個社區組織將與包括加州勞資關係部（California’s Department of Industrial Relations，以下簡稱「DIR」）、農業勞工關係委員會（Agricultural Labor Relations Board）、加州公共衛生部（California’s Department of Public Health）及全國勞資關係委員會（National Labor Relations Board）在內的幾個其他部門攜手，共同計畫並落實勞工行動周項目。按計劃，行動周將於3月7日至3月13日展開，並著力于有風險雇員數目較為集中的七個區域。多個現場和虛擬活動，比如疫苗與檢測診所、資源博覽會、培訓機會以及宣傳車，都被安排在這一周，旨在與雇員們交流，以幫助他們清楚瞭解並更好利用州與地方教育訊息、資源及干預途徑。 「我們使命中必不可少的一部分就是向雇員們就其權利、向雇主們就其責任進行宣傳教育。這在現在比以往任何時候都更重要。」DIR主任Katie S.
