蒙古国儿童癌症照护的变革之路

受外祖母启发,Tsetsegsaikhan Batmunkh 携手 St. Jude 致力于改变儿童癌症照护现状。 作者:Monsy Alvarado 多年来,蒙古国国家癌症委员会 (National Cancer Council of Mongolia) 创始人 Tsetsegsaikhan Batmunkh 听闻了诸多令人心碎的故事,父母们为了给患儿寻找癌症治疗药物四处奔波。家长们通过群聊和社交媒体,相互交流所需药品信息,以及如何找到这些药品的建议。有的人不得不跨国购药,有的甚至被迫转向黑市。  蒙古国每年约有 100 至 120 名儿童确诊患癌,然而,最大的挑战并非确诊本身,而是如何获取高质量的治疗药物。本国药品进口商数量有限,部分基本抗癌药物短缺,迫使家长们不得不转向非正规渠道。  “看到家长们为了获取药品如此挣扎,真的让人非常痛心,”Batmunkh说,“家长们只能彼此转让所需药品,又或通过在国内并不合法的第三方获取。”  不过,蒙古国的这一状况近期迎来转机,这得益于“儿童癌症药物获取全球平台”项目。该项目由 St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 联合世界卫生组织 (WHO)、联合国儿童基金会 (UNICEF) 以及泛美卫生组织 (PAHO) 战略基金共同发起。该“全球平台”旨在为中低收入国家免费采购和供应基本的非专利抗癌药物。包括厄瓜多尔、蒙古、尼泊尔、乌兹别克斯坦和赞比亚在内的几个试点国家已于 2025 年开始接收药品。预计在 2026 年,包括萨尔瓦多、加纳、约旦、摩尔多瓦、巴基斯坦、塞内加尔和斯里兰卡在内的更多国家也将开始接收药品。  全球平台是全球首个同类项目,旨在为中低收入国家约 12 万名癌症患儿提供治疗所需药物。在这些国家,儿童癌症生存率通常低于 30%,远低于高收入国家。  “提升儿童癌症生存率所面临的挑战,必须从多个角度同时应对,”St. Jude Global 主任 Carlos Rodriguez-Galindo 医学博士表示。“这种合作伙伴关系通过多种途径应对这些挑战,包括加强供应链、弥补医疗人力缺口,以及加大对儿童癌症的倡导力度等。正因为这种多管齐下的方式,使得更多孩子有机会在全球范围内获得更好的照护。”  该项目于 2025 年初开始向蒙古国分发抗癌药品。未来 5 年,蒙古国将持续获得免费、不间断且质量有保障的药品供应,以帮助提高儿童癌症生存率。全球平台与蒙古国卫生部、WHO、UNICEF 以及国家妇幼保健中心 (National Center for …
