Weather all-clears have now been issued for all counties affected by this week’s Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS). PG&E crews are assessing any damage caused by the winds and are restoring power to those customers who were shut off for safety.
Due to improved weather conditions, about 3,000 customers in Madera, Mariposa, and Fresno counties were removed from the scope this morning. Overnight, wind gusts of 79 m.p.h. at Mt. St. Helena and 40-50 m.p.h. in the Mt. Diablo Area were recorded. Of the nearly 17,000 customers de-energized for safety during this event, 7,012 have now had their power restored since 4 p.m. today. We anticipate restoring power to all remaining affected customers by noon tomorrow.
An all-clear has been issued for all counties, which allows crews to begin assessing any damage caused by the wind event. Repairs will be made, where necessary, and power will be restored, once it is safe to do so. Once inspections and necessary repairs are conducted, power will be restored to customers.
