PSPS UPDATE: Resources to Support Customers during a PSPS

PG&E continues to monitor the evolving weather events that are making their way across our service area. So far, approximately 13,000 customers have had their power shut off for safety and about 7,000 remain in scope for this event. PG&E will continue to monitor weather conditions.

This PSPS has been called due to a high wind event combined with low humidity and the presence of dry materials on the ground. Winds are forecasted to reach up to 70 mph in some areas. The duration and extent of power outages will depend on the weather in each area and not all customers will be affected for the entire period.

Dozens of Community Resource Centers (CRC) will open in impacted counties to provide support to customers between 8:00 a.m. and 10 p.m. CRCs will provide support to customers, and offer ADA-accessible restrooms, device charging, Wi-Fi, blankets, air conditioning, bottled water, and snacks, and more.

We offer a wide range of resources to help those with access and functional needs to stay safe during a PSPS. Please visit Accessibility Assistance & Resources (pge.com) for more information. This website is also available in 16 languages including English.
