10/12 UPDATE: PG&E Issued All Clear Notification and Monitoring Another Potential Public Safety Power Shutoff this Week

As of noon today, the weather all-clear notifications have been issued for all five counties in scope for this event. PG&E crews have begun their power restoration activities, which include conducting patrols of impacted circuits, assessing any damage found, and making repairs where necessary, prior to re-energizing lines.

They anticipate restoring power to essentially all customers impacted by Sunday’s PSPS by the end of the day today.

While conditions associated with this PSPS event are improving, PG&E is actively monitoring another potential wind event starting late Wednesday, 10/14 of this week and lasting approximately until 10/17.
