Pledge your San Francisco City Pride, Slurp Through Noodle Night, and Partake in a Kimchi + K-Pop Fest

SAN FRANCISCO(Aug 15, 2023) – Off the Grid (OTG) – the Bay Area’s biggest and best gathering of street food, small businesses, community, and culture – returns this fall to Fort Mason Center for a can’t-miss series of events. Expect an exciting slate of chefs, food makers, food products, cocktails, beer, and wine, as well as an entertainment stage with live music, DJs, and dance performances. The lineup of eight (8) themed Friday night food fests runs Sept 1 – Oct 27 from 5-10 p.m. at 2 Marina Blvd, San Francisco.

Themes represent a broad range of foods and cultures, including a celebration of San Francisco, the Asian holiday Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, a taco takeover, a Filipino feast, a K-Pop + kimchi partyKlaycon (an ode to Golden State Warriors Klay Thompson), and a night dedicated to noodles. Fall season sponsors include hometown craft beer company Fort Point, Bay Area brand Sincere Cider, and Bacardi.

OTG is also introducing a new and exciting experience at Fort Mason: Gathera VIP village consisting of 8 reservable booths where OTG patrons can access exclusive menus and dishes that encapsulate that night’s theme. From a collaborative tasting menu featuring food from four different restaurants to a smorgasbord of Korean specialty dishes, Gather is a special event within an event. Show your love for the City of San Francisco at this delicious pep rally, featuring classic dishes from hometown heroes and legacy San Francisco restaurants. Mabuhay – Filipino Food Feast

Immerse yourself in Filipino culture through pop-ups, food trucks, and special experiences that celebrate the rich flavors and traditions of the Philippines. As a major hub for the Filipino community, the Bay Area is home to some of the most innovative Filipino food in the country. Creators include Barya Kitchen with their fried adobo wings and lumpia as well as Street Stix with their cult-favorite shrimp balls.

Mid-Autumn Moon Festival

Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival with lion dances, lantern displays, live music, and interactive cultural activities. We’re bringing traditional mooncakes and savory delights symbolizing unity and abundance for an unforgettable celebration! OTG transforms Fort Mason into the city’s biggest taqueria featuring a wide range of the Bay Area’s best tacos, all of which will compete in a tasty prizefight for the title of the best taco in town! From traditional kimchi and savory BBQ to street food and desserts, we’re curating a night of Korean fare and flair with the support of K-Pop Shop SarangHello. Partake in Korean fried chicken and tteokbokki while enjoying performances and activities that make you a part of the K-Pop phenomenon.
