160萬加州民眾已續保或首次登記加入2021年健保行列，在新冠病毒（COVID-19）肆虐至今疫情最為嚴峻之際，為加入健保人數開啟新頁。這項破紀錄的登記加入健保總數比起去年同期增加了20萬，其中有相當比例屬低收入消費者和少數族裔社區，他們也是因新冠病毒受創最深者。由於節慶假期後新冠確診病患人數激增，Covered California與其他各州公共衛生領袖繼續鼓勵民眾採取預防措施，配戴面罩、勤洗手、與他人保持距離，盡量待在家裡，並且登記加入優質健康保險計劃享受保障。Covered California公開登記期間將於1月31日截止，在270萬無保險的加州民眾中，估計有120萬人符合條件享受通過Covered California或Medi-Cal加州醫療補助白卡計劃領取財務補助。 加州沙加緬度 – Covered California週二宣布在加州各地新冠病毒（COVID-19）確診病患激增的同時，以破紀錄登記加入健保人數展開新的一年。破紀錄的160萬加州民眾已在公開登記期間續約保單或選擇了保單計劃，加入從2021年1月1日開始生效的健保行列。這個總數與去年同期比較，增加了將近20萬人（百分之14）。 “由於新冠病毒持續在全州迅速蔓延，現在絕對不能沒有健康保險，”Covered California執行總監Peter V.
