TEMECULA, Calif. – (October 19, 2026) – Pechanga Resort Casino is celebrating a standout year of recognition from two of the travel industry’s most respected organizations, earning honors from both Condé Nast Traveler and AAA for its resort experience.
Pechanga was recently named one of the Best Resorts in Southern California in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards. Pechanga was one of just 15 properties recognized on the prestigious travel publication’s list, earning a reader score of 94.02. The resort was also the only resort/casino in California to earn a spot on the list and one of only two resort/casinos in the entire United States to make the cut.
Nearly 800,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers cast votes in the publication’s 39th annual Readers’ Choice Awards, rating their favorite experiences across the travel industry, including resorts, hotels, airlines, spas, cruise lines and destinations.
The recognition comes on the heels of another major honor from AAA, which named Pechanga one of AAA’s Top 10 Casino Resorts. The newly introduced list recognizes casino destinations across the country that combine gaming with a broader resort experience, including accommodations, dining and other amenities.
Along with being named among AAA’s Top 10 Casino Resorts, Pechanga earned its 25th AAA Four Diamond Award in 2026. Pechanga remains one of only two hotels in Temecula to achieve Four Diamond recognition this year. Hotels must meet AAA standards for cleanliness, comfort and hospitality to be part of the AAA Diamond Program.
Pechanga’s signature Great Oak Steakhouse also received its 15th AAA Four Diamond Award. Great Oak Steakhouse is the only restaurant in Temecula to earn the Four Diamond Award in 2026 and has received the distinction every year since 2011.
