On December 22, 2024, at 6 pm, Pechanga Resort Casino is pleased to present a live music program with the theme “My Tam — My Soul in the USA”. Speaking of My Tam, few music lovers familiar with today’s Vietnamese music don’t know this female singer with a strong and unique voice. She has won many singing awards or been honored in Vietnam and abroad. My Tam not only performed music by other composers, but she also composed music herself such as “Forever Love” written with musician Nguyen Quang, “Why”, and “Unexpected Kiss”, …. She is also known for her song “Brown Hair and Dark Lips.” With her unique character, My Tam has been compared by some people to the famous female singer Khanh Ly in that she feels a song very naturally through its rhythmic sound. As her career progressed, My Tam constantly explored and experimented with diverse music genres such as hip hop, ballade, foreign music with Vietnamese lyrics, and music with Middle Eastern influences like the song “Sunset Waking Up”. As an artist devoted to her art, she has released many CDs and DVDs and toured domestically and internationally with audiences reaching tens of thousands of people. In 2021, My Tam started a series of online music nights called My Soul 1981. The following year, 2022, she brought this program directly to her fans in Dalat. On December 22, My Soul will be presented to the audience at Pechanga Resort Casino’s theater with songs about love, friendship, and life. Her music style is mostly gentle, youthful, uplifting, easy to listen to, and attractive, especially to young people. My Tam’s “My Soul in USA” will be a valuable and impressive music program for you to offer as gifts to each other for Christmas 2024.
