Due to more favorable weather conditions, PG&E has cancelled the potential PSPS event for 1,300 customers in small portions of Monterey and San Benito counties. Customers were notified of the cancelation earlier this evening. The three Community Resource Centers opened to support customers will close at 10 p.m.
As this prolonged heatwave is expected to impact areas away from the coast until mid-week next week, PG&E recommends staying hydrated, out of direct sunlight and checking on elderly family members or neighbors. A cooling center is a place where you and your family can go to get a break from the heat and cool down. Find a cooling center near you.
