BAYVIEW BRANCH OFFICE ANNUAL TURKEY AND MEAL GIVEAWAY
One hundred and twenty turkeys and meals will be distributed to designated Bayview low-income families, Bayview-based community groups and organizations.
WHY: To celebrate the season of giving and sharing with Bayview residents and families through creating a sense of community pride, peace and understanding.
WHO: Turkeys and meals for the giveaway generously made possible by the San Francisco Police Department and K-Elements BBQ.
The annual turkey and meal giveaway is a project of CYC’s Bayview Branch Office, a multicultural programming initiative that includes historical bus tours, community events, skills enrichment workshops, census and election education, and disaster preparedness training.
Invited to help distribute turkeys are: SFPD Police Chief William Scott, Deputy Chief David Lazar, SFPD Commander Daryl Fong, Commander Steve Ford, Sgt. Tina To, Jaynry Mak, Chairperson, CYC Board, and Sarah Wan, Executive Director of CYC.
WHEN: Monday, November 22, 2021
2:00 PM – Turkeys and meals will be picked up by Bayview residents. Designated groups/organizations will distribute the donations to their own participants at this time.
