Community Volunteers to Beautify Rosemead Senior Center on Feb. 28

WHAT:

Community volunteers are set to join the City of Rosemead’s Beautification Commission and revitalize Garvey Community Center’s Senior Center’s Garden. Volunteers will assist with landscaping, painting, and picking up litter to clean up and beautify the area. This is another step toward the City of Rosemead meeting requirements to achieve the Clean California Community Designation—a prestigious recognition from Caltrans and the Governor’s Clean California program.

Media representatives are invited to join us at our Community Clean-up event to
capture the inspiring efforts of residents coming together to beautify and strengthen our community. Your presence will help share the story of collective action and civic pride.

Media is invited from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
