A personal look at
America’s Inspiring Asian American Icons

Each year, Crossings TV celebrates Asian
Pacific American Heritage Month in May by producing “Journeys”, an
original documentary that takes a personal look at inspiring Asian
Americans and their life’s journey to success.
In 2009, Crossings TV is proud to tell
the stories of
Joya Dass, an accomplished financial news correspondent, who was a reporter at CNBC, CBS, Bloomberg Financial News, CNN Headline, and CNN International. Most recently, she is waking up New York City with her business segments on WABC’s morning show. She is also the weekly host of AVS (Asian Variety Show), America’s Saturday morning look at everything about Bollywood and Indian entertainment.
One room at a time, Vern Yip is designing his way across America, having knocked down walls and made-over countless homes and restaurants during his own HGTV show, “Deserving Design”. He was first seen in the spotlight as a designer in TLC’s “Trading Spaces”, where he won America’s heart with his sense of humor and authentic design style. He also owns a private design company and will soon launch his own design line with a major retailer.
