About Us: Crossings TV is a multi-Asian television network in the United States. Our network serves as a home base for viewers from seven distinct Asian language groups and offers a shared experience that connects multi-generational Asian families.

Role and Responsibilities: As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and shaping our sales force. If you are a strategic thinker, an inspiring coach, a teamwork facilitator, and a goal-oriented manager with a passion for media sales, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Day-to-Day Sales Activities: You will oversee and manage the day-to-day sales operations, ensuring the team meets and exceeds sales targets and objectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving our revenue goals.
  • Training and Sales Coaching: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales team. Provide coaching, guidance, and training to account executives to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Participate in Key Account Development: Work closely with the team to identify and nurture key client relationships. Your expertise will be crucial in building and maintaining strong partnerships with our valued clients.
  • Create Sales Strategies: Utilize market trends and industry insights to develop effective sales strategies for the team. Innovate and adapt to changing market conditions to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Analyze Progress and Results: Regularly evaluate the progress and results of account executives. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies and tactics.
  • Facilitate Collaboration with Other Departments: Ensure seamless collaboration between the sales team and other departments within the company, including but not limited to, production, accounting, master control, and marketing. Effective cross-functional teamwork is essential for success.
  • Set Sales Budget: Take ownership of setting and managing the sales budget. Monitor expenditures and revenue to ensure alignment with financial goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of media industry trends and advertising landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to inspire and lead a high-performance sales team.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in sales analytics and budget management.
  • Proficiency in sales and CRM tools.
  • Genuine interest in learning about and advocating for the Asian American community.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • An entrepreneur at heart and a problem-solver by nature.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the broadcasting industry.
  • Have an established network of contacts within the advertising industry.
  • Knowledge of the Asian American or multicultural advertising landscape.
